My stand: it saves in your account the works you practise (work, part, whether it was in Play or in Study, the bar where you left off and the date) so they follow you across all your devices. You can remove any work or turn the history off whenever you like; it is included in “Download my data” and is deleted with your account.
The catalogue is sorted starting from your usual level, which we work out from what you practise, without asking you.
Your name instead of your email: the app asks you once “What should we call you?” and shows that name in Settings and in Your profile; your email only appears in Your account. Offensive names, or names that imitate Fugato, cannot be used.
Improved
Your other instruments come first when you choose in Pieces (“You also play”).
If a work is published again with the corrected engraving, the app opens the new one by itself, with your annotations, your history and the downloaded copy up to date.
Scores are drawn more like the paper editions: beams on eighth and sixteenth notes, a single “Allegro”, clearer rests and piano hairpins between the staves.
Shephard converts with the same rules, so what you turn into digital comes out cleaner. It is still in testing: always check the result.
We have updated the privacy policy (17 October 2026): we use the name Fugato in all texts; we removed the sentence “today it shows no advertising” so we don't commit to something that may change (if it does, we will tell you beforehand); we added that notices needed for the service, such as security ones, are sent by email; and we added My stand. Read it at fugato.app/privacidad (in Spanish).
Fixed
“See the level” now stays saved.
Pieces shows the catalogue for your instrument as soon as you set it in your profile.
With your account open, the app goes straight to Home: it no longer goes back to the welcome screen or asks you to choose an instrument.
Study plan: when you turn it off in Settings, Pieces stops showing conservatoire courses straight away.
Version 0.3.0 · Beta
· A new piano, the catalogue on Home and your pieces at hand
New
The piano sound is now much more realistic.
Home shows the catalogue and, if you choose your instrument, its pieces: the ones you can already play first. If one has no score yet, you can convert it with Shephard or ask for it with “I want it”.
With an account, “Pick up where you left off”: your latest pieces on Home, and you go back in exactly where you stopped.
A new tour tells you what Fugato does and where the beta stands. You can see it whenever you like in Settings → Help.
Send us suggestions and bug reports from Settings → Help, or write to support@fugato.app.
What's new inside the app: each version tells you what has changed.
Improved
The app no longer asks for your level. If you want to see the recommended level of each piece, turn it on in Your profile.
Your profile brings your music and your account together on one screen.
Shephard reads phone photos and single-instrument scores better, and takes less time per page.
Fixed
The catalogue no longer marks a piece as ready to play when its score doesn't include the part for your instrument.
Settings → Licences now credits the sounds and the synthesizer the app uses.
Version 0.2.0 · Beta
· A tuner inside the app
New
A tuner inside the app, in Study and Play: it tells you which note is sounding and how far off it is, and it can play the reference A.
Choose your A from 415 to 450 Hz (440, 442 and 443 one tap away, and 415 for Baroque). The accompaniment will play at that same pitch.
If a piece comes with versions for different instruments (for example, with violin or with clarinet), the app asks which one you want to play.
Improved
When you go in through «Play» or «Study», for a piece with several movements you choose the movement from a list, without going through the piece page.
Each piece page shows the score's actual licence.
When you create a password, the app explains whether it is too short or is missing letters and numbers.
If many conversions are running at once, it tells you to try again in a few minutes.
Version 0.1.0 · Beta
· More room for the score and more ways to convert
New
Convert now accepts PDFs as well as photos. Up to 30 pages.
One tap on the score hides the bars and gives you more room. A double tap on a bar opens its notes. It works in Study and in Play.
Improved
Converting photos and PDFs is a little faster and a little more accurate. Shephard is still in testing: always check the result.
Fixed
The second and third movements of pieces that have several can now be opened.
Choosing another instrument in the catalogue search no longer changes the instrument in your profile.
When opening the app for the first time on a new device with your account, it sometimes said «No connection» for no reason.
